Axium Process has developed a customisable mobile treatment system utilising membrane filtration technology for the treatment of landfill leachate which provides significant benefits and cost savings when compared to more traditional treatment technologies such as Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) or Anaerobic Digestion. As well as enabling landfill operations to comply with Environmental Agency and local water discharge requirements our technology ensures year round plant operation with minimal manual intervention.  It also significantly reduces chemical and leachate disposal costs and only requires a minimum of cleaning time.

Membrane filtration is a proven technology in the treatment of landfill leachate as it can dramatically reduce the COD (-85%) and suspended solids content (-100%) typical of leachate effluent.

Axium’s landfill leachate systems are designed with a compact footprint and are typically  installed in standard shipping containers to enable easy relocation.  The systems are designed to be fully automatic using state of the art PLC programming to maintain the system within nominal operating limits.
